This one is to the generations of accountants,

wading through piles of paper,

absolving colleagues for all the lost receipts,

and cracking missing zeroes mysteries,

making the numbers make sense again, again and again...

To those who missed their partner’s 30th birthday (end of 3rd quarter), and sweated over a blocked printer at 10pm.

Collecting past due invoices. Checking payrolls. Gathering statements.

To those who keep businesses up and running by the sweat of their brow - the pain days are over.
